The ASIC RG146 Tier II program provides a minimum standard for the advisers of financial products. Specifically for general and/or personal advice in basic deposit and non-cash payment products and/or general insurance.
The program can be completed online for $395.00 or via a one-day workshop for $795 (Pre-reading required before commencement)
Who is it for?
Entry Level Staff who advise on financial services products, provide advise to clients, negotiate with clients and services providers or handle customer complaints.
No entry level requirements for the Tier II RG 146 ASIC compliance course.
How is the course delivered?
The course is delivered to individuals and groups through a range of models including distance education, supported distance education, and facilitated learning blended flexible delivery. Learning Materials and tutorial support is provided to suit the mode that the participant chooses as the preferred learning mode.
What skills will be gained?
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you should be able to demonstrate:
- How to establish relationships with clients and analyse their needs
- To develop, present and negotiate client solutions
- Skills and knowledge to provide advice to retails clients in foundation areas of financial services.
The course duration is 6 months however, the qualification can also be achieved in a shorter period of time.
The time it takes different people to obtain the competencies will vary depending on such things as work experience and prior learning. Nevertheless, it is estimated that the ‘average’ student should be able to complete the qualification in approximately 4 hours a week of study.
